Dear Family and Friends,
This week was a good week. We got a lot done and we are all pretty tired. It has been a full first 2 weeks of the transfer. Lots of biking. I am still in a threesome with Elder Drennan and Elder Okano. Normally, my temp from Trinidad was suppose to come in, but at the last second he found out that his passport was no longer valid. Opps. So I will be as three with Elder Drennan and Elder Okano for this transfer. And we will see what next transfer brings. Our investigators are doing well. Madame Carjuste is still progressing towards baptism on the 21st of this month and is loving the gospel. Fabian and Julie are reading, praying, coming to church, and are improving in their love of the gospel and of their Savior. I am humbled that I have the blessing of being apart of this grand change in their lives. If all goes well they will be baptized the 4th or the 11th of April. I can’t wait to see the change leading up to their baptism and the blessings of change that will come after baptism. The biggest success this week is that Madame Boucard (the less-active daughter of a strong member) is allowing Lehi (yes named after Lehi in the Book of Mormon), one of her kids and our investigator to be baptized. He has a date of baptism for the 4th of April, between the General Conference sessions. I hope that his baptism will encourage his mom to come back into the fold. There are too many blessings inside to stay ouside.
I know that this gospel is true and I know that our Heavenly Father is just waiting to bless us as we follow Him and His Son. He loves us so much He lets us make our own choices, for good or for bad. But the blessings only come with our choices for good; because He is a perfect Being. I know that He lives.
